A proper repair starts with suitability

Not every crack should be repaired. Location, size, and signs of fatigue matter. We inspect first and tell you clearly whether repair is suitable or if replacement is the safer choice.

How the service works:

01 Inspection and crack assessment

We inspect the crack location and severity and check for signs of fatigue or previous repairs. If the crack is in a high-risk area, we’ll advise replacement.

02 Strip down and preparation

Tyre, valve, and sensors are removed as needed. The area around the crack is cleaned back to bare metal so the repair bonds properly.

03 Crack repair (where suitable)

Where the wheel is suitable, we repair the crack professionally (typically TIG welding), building the material back so it can be shaped accurately.

04 Reshape and checks

The repair area is dressed back smoothly. We re-check the wheel and advise if straightening is needed.

05 Leak testing

The wheel is tested to confirm it holds air properly before it leaves the workshop.

06 Refinishing (if needed)

If the cosmetic finish is affected, we can refinish the wheel (powder coating, diamond cutting, or refurbishment depending on the wheel type).

Bryan is a pleasure to deal with. ‘Mobile’ Diamond Cut alloy restoration is rare to your door. The finish on my alloys now looks better than the original OEM factory finish. I take great care of all my cars so putting trust into someone is paramount. Bryan understands this. Recently got an annoying chip on one of my vehicle diamond cut alloys. Having contacted several local company’s, I chose DCA on the basis of reviews and pleasant attitude of the owner, Bryan, during our call. He came out shortly after, assessed the damage and explained the options. It was decided to go for a Smart repair which would give the Alloy the opportunity to be cut at a future time if necessary. This so happened to be a slightly cheaper option, with no hard push for the more expensive route, but to be honest I personally can see no trace of the chip and really pleased with the result. I would certainly use DCA again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

A fully recommended service that you can trust to give your alloys a factory new finish and it can be done on your own driveway. I didnt realise that diamond cut alloys could be done by a mobile service but Bryan has all the kit on his van and about 3 hours later my wheel was as good as new, matching the other wheels perfectly.
